Little about permanent Pigments used in the permanent make up

Pigments are made of solid powders of iron oxides and minerals and which are difficult to dissolve, so stays under your skin for long years
The solid powders made into liquids by adding diluent like glycerine, distilled water along with anti microbial and inserted into the skin through needles

alcohol, listerine, ethylene, aldehydes etc. are added as a carrier to keep the pigments evenly distributed and to disinfect it and inhibit the growth of pathogens

In ancient times Inorganic colors are used to paint walls or on the rocks and used even in the form of cosmetic products

Both organic and inorganic pigments synthesized in the lab

                         Organic

Made of vegetables, herbs and synthetic colors

More vibrant tones

Easily soluble

Mixed with metals to make them insoluble

Profoundly used in body arts

Potential risk of adverse skin reactions and toxicity
Easily removed by laser procedures

Color remains the same or may turn to greyish
after some time but fades faster

No discomfort if it is pure oraganic

                 Inorganic

Made of charcoal, cinnabar, cobalt, cadmium, mercury etc.

         Earthy tones or dull colors

         Low solubility

         Used in pure form

         More preferable to cosmetic tattoo

         Very rare

Colors can be lightened but difficult to remove
Most colors turns to greenish, because of oxides of iron and darker lip shades may turn darker

Temporary discomfort during MRI like pulling or burning sensation, but can be avoided by placing wet cotton over the tattooed area

pigments origin

Black- iron oxide, carbon, logwood
Yellow- curcuma, cadmium
Blue- cobalt, copper carbonate
Green- chromium
white- lead, zinc oxide, barium sulphate
violet- manganese
Brown- iron oxide with clay
Red- cinnabar, cadmium, iron rust
Orange-  disazodiarylide
flesh- ochres
Yellow- curcuma, cadmium

create pigments from basic pigments-

black +white or black + flesh, clay +black  - many shades of grey and black
deep green + red to create browns
blue and red- create shades of purple to rose

play with the colors to create your own fashion but one thing is, if you do not mix it properly, you gone a end up in primary color
